How to Use

• May generate heat on initial contact with water
• Pre-wet by adding to a double volume of freshwater, then rinse thoroughly before use
• Place in a filter bag and position in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or high-flow area of a trickle filter
• Ensure placement maximises water flow through the media without tumbling
• Use 85 mL (1/3 cup) per 200 L (50 US gallons) of saltwater or 400 L (100 US gallons) of freshwater
• Leave in place for around 4 days, then test water levels
• Replace or reuse depending on phosphate and silicate readings
• Over treating is not recommended
• Continuous use of small quantities is better than intermittent use of larger quantities
