How to Use

• Rinse before use
• Place in a fine mesh filter bag (180 micron or less)
• Position in high-flow filtration area for maximum effectiveness
• Can be used in canister filters, media chambers or trickle filters
• 250 mL treats up to 1,000 L (250 US gallons) for up to 6 months
• Replace when beads turn dark brown or black

Regeneration Instructions

• Soak in a 1:1 bleach and water solution for 24 hours in a non-metal container
• Use unscented 8.25% household bleach (no dyes or additives)
• Rinse thoroughly after soaking
• Soak for 8 hours in dechlorinator solution (e.g. Prime) to neutralise chlorine
• Rinse again thoroughly
• For freshwater use, soak for 4 hours in buffer solution (e.g. Discus Buffer or Neutral Regulator)
• Ensure no chlorine smell remains before reuse
